Originally it was just going to be a wrapper for the Microsoft DHTML control, a nifty OCX used by Outlook Express. The only "proper" HTML Editor I had on my system was a very old version of Frontpage Express, which didn’t even support CSS ("Cascading Style Sheets") and so I often found myself writing an HTML email simply so I could save it as a web page. Fixed up my tree view in HTML Editor so that it stores displays things in a logical order (Folders first, followed by files, each in alphabetical order.

Spent more time on this web site, specifically trying to get my beta test application correct. I had a bit of a search and it seems that beta testing procedures vary wildly. I’m almost inclined to not bother (and simply rely on angry customers lodging incoherent complaints/bug reports), but it seem the responsible thing to do. Software is different now that the internet is taken for granted. A lot of software updates itself on the fly. It seems that it’s all becoming more service or subscription oriented, where the follow-up support is just as important as the initial delivery.
