I can quit anytime I want…

This is a snapshot of the small metal bin beside my desk:

Tim Tam wrappers

It’s like that all the way down.

In my defense I would point out that as a totally digital dude I use virtually no paper in my day-to-day activities, so food wrappers are pretty much the only reason I need a bin in the first place.

NB: If you visit Arnott’s website, you may be interested to note that the popular Tim Tam maneuver known [by everyone I know] as “Shot-gunning” is officially referred to as “the Tim Tam Suck”— Doesn’t have quite the same ring to it IMHO…

I’ve always known it as the “Tim Tam Slammer”. Me, I only like the double-coat ones; the rest are too sweet. The new chilli held some promise, but that lasted only as long as it took me to realise there’s too little chilli in there to actually taste.

Given that I like both chilli and chocolate independently, I was surprised by how much I disliked the new chilli variety. Even though it’s very mild, it still tastes like something that shouldn’t be there. Doublecoat is good, except that you only get 9 in a packet :(

I’ve always called it “the exploding Tim Tam” and never had any complaints. Chilli variety is news to me (I don’t inhabit the biscuit aisle, or normally even traverse it- I typically go months between biscuits) but I’ve rejected chilli chocolate as an unfortunate waste of both substances in the past, so I’ll maintain that stance now, I think.
