- I am 36, which in base-6 notation is 100*
- I still can’t grow a decent goddamn beard
- I get disproportionately angry about:
- television commercials for youth oriented SMS based services
- creationists, especially potentially influential ones like Ray Comfort (whose proud ignorance knows no bounds)
- young male voice-over artists who seem to be hired specifically for their blokey douche-bag tones (sometimes for aforementioned TV commercials)
- software that takes longer to shutdown than it does to start up (frikkin MS Visual Studio)
- newspaper based "blogs"
- I weigh 97.5 kg— too much for my height, which is about 5′11"
- My attention span is getting shorter every year
- I don’t like wine
- I am impossible to buy for
- I lean very much to the left, but am not a socialist (except by American standards)
- I thought Ratatouille was the best of the Pixar movies
- I have not finished a book in a very, very long time

Mr Comfort caused me much discomfort with that “misspeak”. He should get a high school student to proof read his speeches.

Ross, everything Ray says is a “misspeak”… he continues to not get it and then effectively challenges people who do understand (ie those with high-school level biology education) to make it clear to him. Not only is he a moron, he is a blinkered misogynistic moron, and he is clearly determined to remain so.

CodewordConduit— I think I’ll forgo Ray’s blog in the future, after spending some time there I think it is more about his ego and passive aggressive point scoring than about any true discussion. I think he loves being the jolly martyr in a very annoying way, and were it not his blog I would assume he was just a troll.
Also a recent post he made about moderate Christianity makes me realize that outspoken atheists could probably be more productive in discussions with moderate Christians, who in general will respect concepts like logic and evidence. The vast majority of people reside in that middle ground right now.

RichardC— I do prefer Hexadecimal myself… if only we had 16 fingers our numbering system would be a lot more elegant.
