I do love me a gin & tonic in the evening, and the best value can be found in Vickers gin, which (IMHO) is vastly superior to other gins in its price range. It’s at least as smooth as the popular and expensive Bombay Saphire, and when I say smooth I basically mean tastes nice and doesn’t give you a stonking great hangover if you happen to overindulge on the odd occasion.
It’s one of the cheapest gins in Australia, which means it costs about $30-$35 for a 700mL bottle (compared to Bombay Saphire at about $45-$50).
I think I’m having one right now!
