One more time
The pedant in me loves Language Log, especially when they riff on Dan Brown – I just can’t get enough!
But clogged recycling centers are now refusing to accept copies of Brown’s book, and libraries are closing their after-hours book drops to avoid having people getting rid of them that way by night.

That is funny. I actually borrowed the book from a friend and read it. Anyone that reads items I have written knows I make my share of grammatical errors. But I totally agree with the post on Language Log, some of his writing is less than great. I saw an interview with Dan Brown and I realized he is a strange, strange man. Although his book is fiction, he believes his poorly researched story is factual. I enjoy conspiracy type stories and that intrigued me originally, but the book was less than stellar and I fail to see why so many are so hooked by the story.
