Creepy G-Man does tiny cameos!
Thursday, December 9th, 2004Playing through select sequences of Half-Life 2 in "difficult" mode, I have thus far noticed two separate instances of the G-Man [or Briefcase Man] appearing in the distance.
The first time I saw him all I could think was: "Oh my god! It’s that guy from the intro! He’s standing right over there looking at me! I’ve gotta run as fast as I can to try to catch up with him! … Hey, where’d he go? He was just here I swear!" which is probably how the designers would like me to respond…

I was wondering what this reminded me of… googling… googling… ding!

not the best example but I think Mr Smart would do well to consider coming on board at Valve for HalfLife^3
and while we’re on the subject
this has got to be the most appropriate under construction ever! The old man still has the goods!

the first time u can see him is in Dr. Clainer’s lab, press “E” to the surveillance camera screen. There is another very secret place you can see him: in the chapter right after that zombie town, the main train rail is blocked by a crashed train. on the very left of that crashed train, besides the wall, you can see G-man walking slowly away on the other side of that train.
