Fifteen Seconds of Lame
Saturday, August 19th, 2006Slow motion is fun… if I ever buy a video camera I’ll consider this capability a requirement. This was made using my Canon IXUS 50, which can shoot at 60fps but only for a minute at a time— another great feature crippled by Canon!
UPDATE: Here’s the exact same video uploaded to Google video, since I was curious about how it compares to Youtube.
UPDATE-2: IMHO Google’s embedded video player feels like an afterthought right now, since there is no preview image (UPDATE-3: It just takes a while to appear, likely that some human checking is involved). Also it appears to rebuffer if the browser has been closed, whereas youtube videos seem pretty good at holding on to data already downloaded.

Perhaps it should be renamed the Canon ISUX 50?
.. I thought it was funny :)

Well that’s the important thing :)

I see it is snowing here at Intepid. :)
Anyway, nice juggling. I could never get more than three at a time. In my defense I gave up trying to juggle more than three almost as soon as I first tried. Entertaining video. :)

Thanks… I can sort of do four, by juggling two in each hand and kind of alternating them, but the balls never actually change hands so it’s a bit of a cheat :)
